Russian President Putin Putting Together The Most Powerful Superpower Coalition

http://www.indiadaily.com/editorial/11-10-04.asp Russian President Putin is taking a lead role in putting together the most powerful coalition of regional and superpowers in the world. The coalition consists of India, China, Russia and Brazil. This will challenge the superpower supremacy of America as well as the European Union. The Chinese are concerned about American and European influence over the world. So is India, Brazil and Russia. Russians need Brazil badly. Brazil is in South America in the American corridor. According to Startfor, a strategic think tank, when Russian President Vladimir Putin visits Brazil Nov. 21-23, he likely will talk economic issues with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio "Lula" da Silva. However, Putin has bigger ambitions: He wants to establish a long-term Russian footprint in Latin America in order to expand Moscow's geopolitical influence in the region. Brazil is very open to the coalition concept where these large countries support each other in term of trade, economics, international politics and defense. According other think tanks, this coalition will have an overwhelming influence over the United Nations. Russia and China are permanent members of the security council. India and Brazil are in the process of becoming the same. In terms of population, the coalition will have three quarters of the world population, largest amount of natural resources and largest pool of technical and scientific talent.

Largest pool of scientific talent? Maybe.....but not the best.....but with our increasingly elitist education system, we'll get that too.

It should've been Canada spearheading an effort like this, but we're still stuck in the mud over insane issues like separatism and "western alienation." And we're not having kids, so we're importing people who know nothing about Canada....great idea when you're population is only 30 million, and it is concentrated in a few southern cites.

When Canada gets its act together--we should either join, or at least trade heavily with this group. Depends how demoractic it gets.

I mean to say "as our education system becomes more elitist, these countries may boast superior scientists as well." While they do have geat scientists now, they are behind areas of "skilled labour," but that could change.

Let me guess the future headlines:

"Canad must join forces with the U.S. to counter this new economic axis."

"Canada must build up its military, and jon BMD to defens against this axis."

Blech. At least the bilberbergers vision of "3 free-trade zones" appears to differ from this plan, because it includes a country from the Americas, Russia, and an Asian country. Maybe this will bring balance to the world.

Russia is keeping their nuclear subs....still think we don't need a military? (We have two border disputes with Russia.) :)

    Sounds bad to me.

The last thing we need is for Russia, China, and India to be working
together. That would legitimize quite a few terrible things while
detracting from the international community's ability to put pressure on
    those nations.

I don't suppose any of that would scare Germany, Japan, or Pakistan,
    huh?

That's the thing. It oculd be a balance of power, but all of these countries have oodles of people, and treat them like crap. If you think our press isn't free-try China or Russia. Awful, just awful.

We'll see if the lords of the white world want to give us our social programs and moeny-system back, or if they want to be ruled by Asian men.

    Go, Putin!

That's what I thought, and maybe it will turn out that way--but he's still a big phony. he could tell thenRussians crap was gold--and they'd believe him.

That may be, but who else can defang this monster, Bush? I don't care if it's the devil himself, Bush and the zealots must be stopped. Americans can't do it. Neither can the Canadians. Putin might.

  9. Sat Nov 13, 2004 5:31 am
Maybe....as long as he doesn't become a monster......pegging oil in Euros will be a good start, not that I like the EU.

  10. Sat Nov 13, 2004 7:28 am
Russia, China, India and Brazil should consider uniting with Europe (minus the UK lap dogs) THAT would put a kink in the Bush-shite neoconazi plans for global empire!

  11. Sat Nov 13, 2004 7:57 am
Yeah, but I doubt Europe woudl do that....as long as the Euro becomes the world currency--no need IMO.

And seriously, that would be too many powers in one place......too much like a "New World Order" one-world government.....eek.

By aligning itself with the fastest growing economies in the world whose needs for oil is ever growing, Russia would be setting itself up as the major global dealer in the oil market. As for technological development, future and revolutionary innovations will be coming out of Asia in the next decades. Each year, more engineers graduate in China than graduates from ALL fields in America. Because Russia also needs Europe more than it does the US in term of economic trade, a switch to petro- euros is inevitable. <p> Without the necessary leverage to blackmail developing countries such as India, China and Brazil with available energy resources, the U.S. will be forced to make another move. Shocking and awing the world with their theatrical wars won't be enough. ( World chess. How fun.)

And of course, "Canad will be needed to help."

    Puke.

This is too funny - all you America bashers think that an alignment of these countries is just wonderful because the US is run by evil corporations or whatever. Think again, these countries all have less freedom than the US and that's reflected in the style of gov't and how their corporations are allowed to operate - they literally do shut up people like you guys in their own countries. So you would like us to import that kind of environment? No thanks.
