Nothing Secret About Banff Forum, Says Stockwell Day

Posted on Friday, September 29 at 10:44 by BC Mary
"My travels are not secret," [Stockwell Day] said. "Anytime I get a chance to promote Canadian products and the need to make sure Canadians have good access to manufacturing and sales potential in the United States and Mexico, I will." Day said he would readily go to another such meeting, if invited. Fogal's comments were posted on the Canadian Action Party's website, along with reaction from a group known as Vive Le Canada. The organization claimed the conference focused on deep integration of the North American community which it fears "will profoundly affect everything in our lives from our health and security to the currency we use . . . to our very national identity." "In essence, we will no longer be Canadians, but North Americans only -- and worse, North Americans hog-tied in lockstep with the U.S. even as they gain open access to our energy resources," stated the Vive Le Canada release. http://www.pentictonherald.ca/article_2081.php

Oh no, nothing secret Doris, we believe you.

"...forum spokesman John Larsen, said although the public was not notified of the closed and private meeting it was not meant to be secret and participants were allowed to say if they attended the forum. The only media member invited was from the Wall Street Journal, according to a list of participants. "

If it was not meant to be secret than why was the public not notified beforehand? Did any of the particpants who were allowed to say if they attended actually do so? If this meeting was in the public's best interest than why didn't Doris hold a press conference either before, during, or right after, to state the objectives of the gathering.

The only reason he's saying it wasn't a secret is because we all found out about it. Of course, it's not a secret now, but it was until the leak.

The organizers of the North American Forum did their best to keep the meeting secret. Stockwell Day claimed that it was no secret. The only reason that his statement is no longer a lie is because Mel Hurtig obtained internal documents about the conference and I did my best to inform the media on this issue. Most of the media did not want to touch this with a ten foot pole.

I spoke with some employees of the Banff Springs Hotel and they told me a few details. The busses came and left in the middle of the night. Banff Springs Hotel employees were told not to talk to the media about this. The one or two reporters who were digging for information on this were told by the hotel that all their media relations people were away. A limo driver was told not to tell anyone who he drove. The delegates stayed mostly on the 4th floor of the hotel and rarely left that floor.

Readers of the Penticton Herald should be thankful that this story has been published here. You are some of the few in North America who now know that political and business leaders are conspiring against citizens. The Penticton Herald is one of about four papers in Canada and five in Mexico to cover this story. All that can really be known about this meeting so far is that our political and business leaders are conspiring behind our back. Now there is a lot of blog activity on the internet about this. Many of the bloggers report that the formation of a North American Union was being discussed, with the idea that we have a common North American government with a parliament and court that will have more authority than the current Mexican American and Canadian governments. There is also much talk of a common currency.

This is not just an innocent meeting behind closed doors. The who’s who of business, government and military were in Banff to commit a crime of treason against the citizens of Canada, The United States and Mexico. The most alarming aspect of this story to Canadians is that Conservative and Liberal MPs are on board. If we are to remain a nation, we must change the secret policy of one of theses parties or vote in a new one. I for one am extremely concerned about our future.

Banfforama: I just want to say "Thank you!" for sleuthing out the bare
facts of that nefarious conference and passing around the warning.

I hope you stay on the job! All the best.

The meetings weren't a secret, just what had been discussed. Harpers government decides what should be revealed and only when it is thought that the public should know. I am sure we will be told those details that the government feels are unescapable. Perhaps when we see the "Stars & Stripes" flying on capital hill and our own flag lowered, Harper may indicate why. Then again, perhaps he may not, because it may not be in the publics interest to know. When our currency suddenly becomes the same colour for all denominations, it still may not be revealed. Day may be able to see the light but Canadians aren't allow3ed to see the light of Day.

Militaries play war games to prepare for the inevitability of war. Our Governments are playing "integration games" with a mock parliament. They've been doing it since '03.
---
Dear Abby, Dear Abby my fountain pen leaks, my wife hollers at me and the kids are all freaks

Remember when Pastor Day was in charge of a tiny school in Bentley,
Alberta? The textbooks were imported from the U.S.A. That's where the
church elders all went into town, laid hands upon the local pub, and
prayed for it to fall down. It didn't.

Never saw so many oxymorons in one place before. But now he's in
Ottawa, as The Honourable Stockboy Day. Anybody seen ValOrie lately?

The North American Forum on Itegration, I'd never heard of them before. I'd like to know how many people are working behind thes shadows to create the United States of North America. I wonder of Doris can tell us what our new national anthem will be?

Currently the main formal body working on integration is the NACC (the North American Competitiveness Council). This body is made up primarily of 30 CEOs or top executives, ten from each of the countries and appointed by either the Presidents or the Prime Minister. The main work appears to be delegated to Secretariats. The Canadian imput is controlled by the Canadian Council of Chief Executives.

Last month the NACC set their immediate priorities as border crossing facilitation, regulatory convergence, and energy integration and tasked each secretariat with drafting the work plan for one of the priorities: border crossing (Canada), regulatory convergence (the U.S.), and energy integration (Mexico).

It is important to recognize that this organization has a mandate from the governments of all three countries to pursue integration. Yet the Canadian media is ignoring what is happening suggesting that they do not want the public aware of just how far this has progressed.

I am afraid that the focus on the Banff conference, while important in the sense that at least three individuals who are either members of the NACC or its Secretariats were listed as participants, is taking away the focus from the more significant NACC formed under the Security and Prosperity Partnership agreement.

We all owe a debt of gratitude to skidoo boy for enlightening the public on this one. Maybe next time they should try meeting in an underground bunker.
