He's a brave man--he's directly sueing Ashcroft (aka Big Brother) AND Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge AND FBI director Robert Mueller!

But I guess once they've tortured you once what's the worst they can do?

All Canadians--and Americans--should be getting behind Arar on this one.

He's putting the reality into that slogan "Canadians Kick Ass."

Here's an interesting thought for everyone: If he's the dangerous terrorist that everyone claims, how did he cross the border in order to file this suit? Shouldn't he have been re-arrested and re-deported to say, North Korea?<p> <p>---<br>"History does not repeat itself, but it does rhyme" Mark Twain <br />"The greatest price of not participating in politics is being governed by your inferiors." Apparently, he is not allowed to go to New York since he has been barred from the US for 5 years, according to the news.

He has an American lawyer working for him.

I wish him all the best, hell, I\'d sue for millions just to piss them off.

The irony in this is that a Syrian-born Canadian will be the person that will shine the light into the dark corners of our security and government coverups. If we do get back our sence of freedom he will be forefront in having made that happen. Most Canadians are sleepwalking with regards to losing their freedoms. I too have thought of Maher Arar as a hero. He\'s fighting for all Canadians with this case.
I also emailed Paul Martin again asking for the public inquiry. His office forwarded my email to Bill Graham and Anne McClellan. And why is it that everytime I end up in a fury I have to deal with Anne McClellan? She seems to attract controversy wherever she ends up in government. Maybe SHE\'s a threat to Canada\'s security!
