Authorities wouldn't reveal exactly what Ahmed allegedly did, but he was indicted on suspicion of giving material support of terrorism. Ahmed, arrested March 23, was being held at an undisclosed location. He waived his right to arraignment and pleaded not guilty. "We're not alleging that a terrorist act was committed or that Mr. Ahmed, at this point, we're not alleging that he was involved in a terrorist act. We're alleging that he provided support in the form of goods or services, to commit terrorist acts," said Nahmias. http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20060421/terror_fbi_060421/20060421?hub=TopStories [Proofreader's note: this article was edited for spelling and typos on April 25, 2006]

Canadian PM John Chretien once promised any and all Palestanian a new home with the forces of the Canadian government behind them to make it all as smoothly as possible. There sweemed to be no takers whatever the wanted status of the terrorists who would surely be coming.

They had fought tanks with rocks. They would have taken over the streets of Toronto in about 10 minutes tops.

The only thing that makes the boarder hemmoraging seem halfway normal is the slashed arteries on the US southern boarder. Meamwhile we are a resting place of many, a stopping place for few. The low educated Mexicans and the high educated Chinese and Europeans use Canada to get elsewhere.
That seems to leave us with people with a lot of baggage, political, and social and criminal baggage. And maybe a few people who can work the system like some know how to do before they even set foot in Canada. Terrorists and criminals have always thrived in anarchy. That's what we have allowed so that's what we get.
