Has B.C. Premier Simply Grabbed The Spirit Bear Symbol From The Heroic People Of

I understood that the Gitka'ata First Nations community at heroic Hartley Bay have always been the protectors of the Kermode Spirit Bear and that they were negotiating with the province on the use of the Spirit Bear as a symbol for the 2010 Olympic Games. This news report suggests that the Gitka'ata have been left out of the equation. Surely not! Please let me know what arrangements have been made with the people of Hartley Bay for the use of this symbol which is so central to their traditions. I would prefer an e.mail response, thank you.
