Iraq & Afghanistan Spinning Out Of Control

Posted on Sunday, October 01 at 10:45 by BC Mary
*Pervez Musharraf and Hamid Karzai, the most important U.S. allies on the frontlines of the war on terror, are publicly sniping at each other. Yet, true to form, Bush and his minions are blaming others. Three years ago when the Iraq operation started to go off the rails, both Baghdad and Washington began pointing fingers at "foreign terrorists" and neighbouring Iran and Syria. Now Kabul and Washington are blaming the "foreign Taliban" and Pakistan for the Afghan debacle. And Ottawa is obediently echoing the accusation. http://tinyurl.com/z874a

I thought the purpose of the Afghan/Iran wars were to destabilize the respective regions for political and financial purposes, which they have succeeded in doing.

As for Ottawa echoing DC, you can't really blame them since they do not have the mental capacity to think for themselves over there. Like an infant child, they can only repeat whatever catch phrases they are fed.

So, the 'big three' have an agenda, and the writer, Siddiqui, doesn't?
You believe all that garbage that he wrote?
If you do, it's because you WANT to believe it.

I watched "Frontline" on PBS tonight "The Return Of The Taliban" and there are more and more people admitting that this war will never be won.

Two more dead and 5 more injured.

If I can find anything humourous in this disaster is that the Bush empire is loosing its wheels and I can see the GOP desperate to hang on pull the military out of Afghanistan and admit defeat or start negotiating with the Taliban as Jack Layton suggested and there Harper will be standing with his pants down singing: "Someone left the cake out in the rain, and I don't think that I can take it, it took so long to bake it and I'll never have that recipe again. OH NO!

He's two steps behind the Bush government. It's like watching a broadcast coming from across the globe and you have that delayed reaction thing happening. When he finally says or does what he's been told the Bushies are already onto the next step and Harper looks outdated.

It's going to be a big job convincing Canadian voters to abandon any support for the Conservatives or Liberals this election. They are not worth what we are paying them.

For example, look at the shitty serfdom Canada has become. We dont even have hockey and beer left to brag about.
