Accelerating Death Count In Iraq

As for the civilian death count--between 21,000 and 55,000 people have died in Iraq according to a new report.

Let's not forget that many of these Iraqi civilian deaths are likely unnecessary. War does strange things to soldiers, as recent investigative reports suggest--see The Scalping Party or the Blade's investigation of the atrocities committed by U.S. elite unit Tiger Force in Vietnam.

And other research shows that Tiger Force is just the tip of the iceberg.

Finally we're seeing the reality, and not just the rhetoric...

    I feel bad for the American soldier who joined the army only looking to find a career because they could not go to school, for whatever reason.
