Site Upgrade

Posted on Sunday, March 07 at 10:48 by Jesse
We're in the middle of another upgrade of the vive code right now; it's a fairly major upgrade, though you hopefully won't notice any changes. It should fix the getting-logged-out issues that people have been having, among other things.

Some things may be broken today, but rest assured they'll get sorted out before monday. If you do come across anything, let me know. Thanks for your patience.

Note: let me know

one thing I noticed which is nice, I didn't log in, but I'm in...so do we not have to log in anymore...what if we want to be anonymous?

Phew! Glad to hear it seems to be working better!

The site should remember you as being logged in, for long periods of time(I think it defaults to a year). It was always supposed to do this, but for some reason it wasn't.
I'm hoping that we'll get a lot fewer anonymous comments, and definitely a lot fewer "I forgot to log in!" comments.

If you want to post anonymously, you can click the "Log Out" link in the left sidebar, at any time.
