Syrian Hardliner To Come To Canada

Posted on Friday, June 24 at 10:51 by drcaleb
Suleiman is the former head of Syrian interior intelligence and a key figure in the country's dictatorial government. His seven-months pregnant daughter Randala Suleiman has also received a tourist visa and intends to visit Montreal to give birth, said the Globe. According to the report, which cites sources close to the situation, it's common for the children of senior Syrian officials to deliver their children in Canada to give them citizenship and a place to receive a low-cost education. http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/2005/06/24/syrian-birth050624.html ---------- Ok, why is this man and his family coming to Canada? All of a sudden, Syria is OK with us? We've forgiven them for Arar and Malki? No. Someone who tortured Canadian Citizens will not use the social support system that I contribute to. I am writing my useless MP anyhow. -Dr. C

Of course Canada should welcome these Baa'thists! After all, they are just as valid a ruling class in Syria as Iranina-backed Hamas is in Palestine!

So what if these Syerians treated a few Canadian/Syrians as any other Syrians?

After all, they're against Americans, just like Canadians, so we should all work together, eh?
