But it’s Slim Shady’s latest even-more-controversial video, Mosh, that has really put GNN on the mainstream map.
Mosh, which was produced and directed by GNN partner Ian Inaba, had its premiere on the GNN Web site (www.gnn.tv) on Oct. 25, a week before the U.S. election, and this incendiary anti-Bush tirade sparked media coverage around the globe. In the days following Mosh’s debut on GNN, the site was averaging 190,000 visitors daily, up from the usual average of between 15,000 and 30,000.
The song, the most partisan, openly political tune ever from Detroit’s most famous rap export, is included on the new Eminem album, Encore, which hit stores Friday.
