Hackers For Uncle Sam

Posted on Thursday, April 21 at 10:53 by sthompson
Canadians note: "One expert on cyber warfare said considering the unit is a 'joint command,' it is most likely made up of personnel from the CIA, National Security Agency, FBI, the four military branches, a smattering of civilians and even military representatives from allied nations." What do you want to bet Canadian intelligence is cooperating with this?

And when paranoia has proved to be justified in so many other civil liberties cases in the US of late, of course you have to wonder how long it might take for certain dissidents and protestors to be lumped into "enemy" targets for US military hackers...

How cute...what's next? Little green U.S. Marines, and U.S. Navy Seals bearing underwater computers freshly returned from converting the Martians, dressed in cow suits hanging out in our Alberta pastures trying to covertly "steer" our mad cows away from the NDP, and across the border into the American Republican Party's evil clutches? Lets try to keep a level head. Right about now Canada needs level heads. We are in the middle of a "crisis" of sorts here...

Those computer hackers are worthless. It is a publicity stunt to make these people feel important. If there is a war, they will be defeated in about 1 minute with counter measures:)
