That was a great article. I emailed Heather and thanked her. Its nice to have writers at the globe who inform Canadians about what's happening behind their backs.

Well just got an auto responder message from Healther saying she is away until Sunday May 9th. I found her auto responder message interesting. I'm assuming she gets emails from Americans cause of her type of articles?
I'll be out of town until Sunday, May 9. Thank you to all the kind Americans who have emailed me in recent days.
Cheers,
Heather Mallick

If its really cause of Americans emailing her. I wonder if there's Canadians that also email American journalist/writers when they write something about Canada? And if Canadians do email them upset about an article, do they get as hostile as some Americans can get.
In my opinion Canadians when someone attacks their leaders of the country, they don't take it personal. It seems like some Americans do take it personal. For example would be the Americans who emailed the globe regarding their article about fox news. Some of the emails were nasty. Why would they take it so personal?
Kevin
---
"Love actually, is all around us" --From the movie Love Actually.

That made me honk. I emailed Heather and told her I'll be using the "Jeez my ear hurts" line. So hopefully everyone here reads it so they know what I'm talking about when I use it.
