Will Canada Be A Colony Or A Country? It's Up To Us

Posted on Thursday, March 11 at 11:03 by sthompson
I can tell you that Vive le Canada will be a part of the action wherever and however we can, and we will be working hard to build the Internet presence of this movement. We will need your support more than ever, especially to get the word out about the site and to spread information on any actions we run.

For now, you can visit the Council of Canadians website for more information on the tour and to read the booklet, The Canada We Want(PDF).

And of course please keep checking back here at Vive for news and discussion about this movement. We will keep you updated as things progress. Big things are in the works, folks.

Vive le Canada! This country is NOT for sale!

I'm going to try my best to make that Mar. 30 Toronto stop.

I watched the last part of The Corporation last night, I missed the first two, and boy am I pissed.

I have to see the whole thing someday, but I'm on 28.8 dial-up, so online doesn't work for me.

Good work. I'm hoping we can get the attention we need.

I'm so sick of watching CPAC and those bumbling idiots that can never seem to answer the question. We should throw them all out and start over. The corruption runs too deep.

Here is another tid-bit for anyone who isn't pissed enough yet...I just started a book written in 1994, paperback 1995 with updates, called 'On the Take', great detail about the rise to power in the Mulroney years, corruption and secrecy and I'm only 1/4 through! Hell the forward makes you crazy never mind when you get into the book!

Besides the disgusting facts listed,it gives you a better understanding about how politics really works and it ain't pretty!

Ive got that book & I've read parts of it, but it just keeps dragging on & on. I bet if someone wrote a book on the Chretien years it would be just about the same. I'm not surprised about any of it though.

It does drag in the sense that she is revealing alot of details, over many years, what I like is the connecting the dots...from back then to today...it helps to see who the players really are...works for me anyway.

    Hi Jim.

Yes, I would recommend seeing "The Corporation in its entirety. It takes a couple of viewings to fully digest it. The T.V. version has some footage the theatre version didn't have, but the theatre version was more cohesive.....if you are interested, the theatre version MAY come out on video, and will most likely come out on DVD.

If you have a VCR, you can also buy the T.V. version directly from TVO, but it'll probably be re-broadcast another time, anyway.

    Bye.

This discussion is a little off-topic, but Stevie Cameron is certainly well-known because of that book and the articles she wrote on Mulroney. FYI, there's a bit of recent controversy over her now because of info she was supposedly an RCMP informant.

My friends, we`re going to take our country back!!! I love what I read on this forum. I love what I see from the Council of Canadians. I love the reaction I get from my fellow Canadians when I spread the word about how this Americanization is being done without our consent! I believe that the Canadian Action Party pamphlets that I distributed along the north shore of Lake Erie have made their difference too! BE RELENTLESS! I constantly send letters to Martin, and various Premiers and cabinet ministers. I recently sent an e-mail to the United nations telling them that they should be more vocal in telling the US to leave other countries alone! When i heard on the National that the International Narcotics Control Board criticized Canada for its weakening stance on marijuana, I e-mailed them and told them it`s none of their business, and that Canada has a more progressive, humanitarian policy on drugs and that they should quit caving into the pressure of the US, who`s drug policies are DRACONIAN! PRESSURE,PRESSURE, PRESSURE! It will win the millenium for CANADA!!!

Maude Barlow, Mel Hurtig, David Orchard need to become members of CAP, do the changes that they feel it needs. And take back our country.
