How I dislike that remark about the only sure thing being death and taxes. Death is a hateful dragnet, except when it's a blessed release. But Canadian taxes are great. I may be alone in this opinion, but hear me out, please. I'm a fan of civilization and, you see, taxes enable civilization. To put it another way, taxes grease the skids of living well.

Helet-head says we can have it both ways.

We won't find out he's wrong until it's too late.

BTW, of course he's wrong on purpose.

Who was that judge that said it's ok to lie during a political campaign ?? I'm tired of bleeding-heart judges.

<i>Who was that judge that said it's ok to lie during a political campaign ?? </i><p> I tried to find that too. I know I read it in several sources. I'm sure that I was a Quebec Supreme Court Judge, but I could be wrong.<p><p>---<br>"History does not repeat itself, but it does rhyme" Mark Twain <br />

I've always wondered how you can massive increase expenditures and massively cut revenues on a barely ballanced budget and still have money left over to pay down a 589ish billion dollar debt. That seems to defy mathematics: unless it's like 2 billion dollars in tax cuts (67$ per Canadian), which seems silly, and is not his plan: Helmethead wants taxes in Canada lower than those in the States. Is he on crack? I'm with Heather. I'm quite happy to pay taxes
