Nice to see Axworthy finally saying something. But, I just have to wonder, what took him so long? When he was still part of the Chretien government, he just sat there, like a timid rabbit, not saying anything. Kind of like former Ontario premier Bill Davis, coming out to blast the Eves-Harris tories for their policies on Ontario`s public education system. Davis just sat quiet until a few months ago, when everyone knew that the Tories were done! To me, silence while it is happening is compliance! Axworthy and Davis are both old and financially well off, so why were they so afraid to show dissent from their parties in the early stages of their corporate fascist agendas?

Old habits die hard?! If more of these guys would speak out now, we would have a better chance at showing what is really going on in this country. Lougheed made a small attempt speaking out about the FTA, after the fact, but still those who are in the know should speak and repatriot themselves, or at least let us know which country they serve.
