All Politicians Should Be Lawyers

Therefore, he is advocating that all politicians should be lawyers. (My interpretation).

Wouldn't that be something ?

A roomful of lawyers is a noisy bunch, although they have been taught how to debate very well.

Lawyerspeak is so boring, question period would be time for a nap.

    All politicians should be 'licensed'. Screened for greed and lust for power, psychologically evaluated. It is funny that you need a license to drive, to practice law or medicine, even to run a business but any yahoo can run the country(down).

    Actually, I think there are already too many lawyers in government! To have true democracy, the house should consist of doctors, lawyers, nurses, taxi drivers, factory workers, environmentalists, entrepreneurs, women, men, minorities, as well as more input from youth! Only with a diverse make-up, can we have true freedom and democracy!

    You can't have a true democracy within a capitalist system.

    Capitalist political system, with capitalist rules, for capitalist control. Production for profit. Nothing else matters.

    There is a rising number of working class electorate that are choosing not to participate/vote in a capitalist system that is not working for them. The sleeping giant may finally be waking.
