Bush Decides To Cut His Losses

"Bring the Troops Home!" and "End the Occupation" are slogans you might see on signs in a peace march.

But there's an excellent article in the Village Voice about Bush's pledge to end the occupation of Iraq by July 1, no matter what, and why, in the author's opinion, it's actually a self-serving decision.

As it concerns to the invasion of Iraq it was already decided by the Clinton admin. so the burden is distributed more evenly and it seems more like an American policy rather than a Republican policy.

Who cares! It\'s crappy policy altogether. And, it\'s not even partisan politics as far as I can tell it\'s The Project for the New American Century policy. It\'s a special interest groups\' policy.
