in todays society everybody is (pardon my english ... my first language is french so i make lots of typos)

everybody is on their own, going like ME ME ME ME

people wont stand together cause they dont care about their neighboors anymore

but if someday all Canadians change mentality ... and become a collective force as you said NOBODY WILL BE ABLE TO STOP US

I don't think it is just that people don't care; I think it is because people don't think they can make a difference and they really don't know what is going on. Most people I talk to say they don't understand politics and say that politicians talk above them or use complicated words to baffle them. So they turn off. That is wrong, politicians ought to speak so that the people that pay their salary do understand what they are saying, and they need to be accountable to those people, keep them engaged so that they understand the issues.

Can you image going into your boss' office and speaking in language that he/she doesn't understand, you wouldn't have your job for long.

Everything has become so complicated with WTO, NAFTA etc that the average person doesn't have the time or energy to learn about what these trade deals mean or who is running the show. The last two or three years I have done nothing but read political material, and I still feel like I'm in the dark; but I suspect that is part of the plan. But hey, we are not mushrooms so we will evolve and learn in spite of the plan!

The media does a good job of keeping people misinformed also. Go to www.ipsos-reid.com & compare the poll results of stuff that mentions NAFTA specifically (it's popular, apparently), and the results for whether or not our government should sign trade agreements that would allow private corporations to sue governments directly if government actions cause the businesses to lose profits. The results say a clear majority think the NAFTA has been good for us, but we shouldn't sign a trade agreement as described above. I blame the media for that.

This guy Eduard is a nut case with his own agenda. Take a look at Manitoba courts registry and see how much court time was waisted for stupid issues with every neighbour he ever had and with almost every organization he was ever involved in. He also uses the name Edward at times so it doesn't look so bad on the court registry.
