this is excellent. So now we need <a href="http://www.freenation.ca">freenation.ca</a> to get lots of credibility, get the Orchard campaign, Hurtig's people, NDP, Green, & Canadian Action Parties all together, and broadcast their message all over with vivelecanada.ca ! Nobody will be able to ignore this when 2008 rolls around, & just in time for the 20-year anniversary of FTA, when Clayton Yeutter said we'd be sucked into the US economy!! hehe <P> <B>"If we don't say anything, then everybody will think everything is okay"</B> - Bolivian anti-water-privatisation activist (paraphrased)<p>---<br>"We can only see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done." - Alan Turing

This really is good news, not only for vive, but for
the people of Canada, it shows we are not the apathetic sheep we have been in the past!! We are awake and hopefully more so before June 28!

<p>I wonder how much of those are repeat visits? Repeat visits are just as in important as new visits. Repeat visits say's allot. <p><b>I would like to suggest to Susan and Jesse</b> to pick up the book called "Community Building On The Web". There's allot of ideas in there that you can learn which would help this site. Allot of techniques that allow the site to grow without paying high advertising fees. <p><a href="http://www.naima.com/community/">Community Building On The Web</a> <p>Kevin<p>---<br>"Love actually, is all around us" --From the movie Love Actually.

Something that would really help, but would also be very expensive. Is a simple free software instant messenger for vive members. Something like msn instant messenger.

If vive has its own instant messenger it can help spread the vive site around even more. But I can see this as being a very expensive idea.

Do you realise how much work it is to implement a peer-to-peer instant-messaging network and client? There's no reason at all to make our own when there are already several alternatives including MSN, ICQ, Jabber, IRC, and so on. People are free to exchange contact info for those existing networks, with no extra work required.

Your gonna mark it on your calendar for some day soon :-p

Oh and Jesse I was only suggesting the instant messenger thingy. I wasn't telling you to do it. I didn't suggest it as a way so people can have a instant messenger program. I'm aware that there is many options. My suggestion was more to do with promoting vive. Instant Messenger build's a brand name on the net. Again it was only a suggestion.

And Jesse all cap's are not aloud ;-)
