RCMP Get Their Man, Totally By Accident . . .

Posted on Thursday, September 21 at 11:35 by drcaleb
Those who met him offered to take the man, whose name has not been released, to the local Co-op store to buy food. On the way, they happened to run into RCMP Const. Ian Johnson, and the Romanian's scheme crumbled. http://tinyurl.com/o5ffs [Editor's note, I put this under 'Environment' because, as the story states, 10 years ago this would have not been possible. There's what, one bush plane a week that lands there? And it's not like you are going to walk into the rest of Canada. Hell, he didn't even arrive on the mainland.

I gotta say that that is some real brass... I'd almost consider letting the guy in on the basis of ingenuity alone.

You should have put this nonesense under the category of transparent "propaganda" instead.

"It could have been anybody who was a terrorist, and he could have just bombed us right away, so it kind of our opened our eyes," he said.

I wonder how much the actor got paid for this stunt? Meanwhile a huge push is underway to recruit legions of border guards who will be armed to the teeth with weapons.

We can expect more stories of this kind in the days to come.

oh good somebody else caught that too... In the news today, a terrorist plot to blow up Grise Fiord, Canada's northern most community, was foiled by a quick thinking member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police....
