Muslims Are Condemning Terror, But Who’S Listening?

Posted on Tuesday, July 26 at 11:47 by Diogenes
Earlier this year, a leading Saudi cleric Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudeis told pilgrims to Makkah that “faith does not mean killing Muslims or non-Muslims living among us. It does not mean shedding blood, terrorizing or sending body parts flying.” Muslim groups have also denounced terrorist attacks, including the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which put out a statement condemning the Sharm El-Sheikh blasts thus: “It is with great sadness and revulsion that we once again witness senseless attacks on innocent civilians. American Muslims condemn these brutal attacks...” Last year, CAIR launched a petition titled “Not in the Name of Islam” with the intent of distancing the world’s 1.5 billion decent and law-abiding Muslims from the brutal acts of a few fanatics. In Britain, the Muslim Council “utterly” condemned the acts of terror on the capital’s transport system, adding, “these evil deeds make victims of us all”. It is all about the spin! The truth once again not important, how can people be listening to anything but main stream screaming?

You know, I'm not even sure if these "terrorists" are even extremists. Or at least, that extremist views are the "cause" of the terrorism.

I do know that just about every single thing Bush and Blair have said about the "war on terror" has been a total fabrication. Every time they get caught in a lie, their story changes, then that is shown to be a lie as well. How can I actually believe the story that extremism is what is behind the bombings as they tell me when I know they are liars of the worst sort?

I think back to what Hitler and the Nazi's called the resistance movement in Europe - terrorists. Is there a parallel here?

After reading "The Real Terror Network", I know just how bloodthirsty the USA has been in persuing economic dominion over South and Central America. Overthrowing democracies, funding, training, and supplying murderous dictators and even participating is massacres and drug trafficing directly (Iran Contra anyone?).

The USA's behavior in the middle east hasn't been any better. Its just as likely that these "extremists" are simply people who are tired of being pushed around, impoverished, and even murdered by the USA and its satalite dictators and decided that they may as well die fighting back instead of cowering in a corner.

But then again, they may just be extremists. When governments are wholesale liars and the media does its best to play along, just how are you supposed to make informed descisions?
