EU air passenger data is to be used for testing 'Computer Assisted Passenger Pre-Screening System' (CAPPS II), a new US passenger screening system.

In short: NGOs express concerns about the use of EU passenger data for testing the new US passenger screening system, and question the correctness of a previous statement from Commissioner Bolkenstein on this issue.
