Jews, Christians and Zoroastrians would be forced to wear a yellow, red or blue strip of cloth, respectively, on the front of their clothes, the newspaper stated.
Maurice Motammed, a Jewish member of Iran's Parliament, dismissed the report as "a complete fabrication" and said: "It is a lie, and the people who invented it wanted to make political gain."

The goal is not to "prove" anything. The point is to falsly accuse, loudly so that everyone hears, then retract in a whisper so most people never learn the truth.
For example, how many people today know that the Gulf of Tonkin incident that triggered American involvement in Vietnam was a big lie? The US government's own documents proved what the "whacked out" conspiracy nuts had been claiming for decades, yet hardly anyone knows a thing about it.
If we as Canadians realize that much of our mainstream media (not only newspapers but also radio and television) have been taken over by corporations directed by the Aspers and their ilk (behind the screens of course and covered by immunity as these are "corporations"), we would consider everything that comes from them suspect. I believe their are studies that show how much is controlled.
This false news was a trial balloon; whoever believed it should kick themselves for being gullible.
I believe it is possible to be "anti-Zionist" without being considered and labelled "anti-Semitic".
