This book is going to wake up a few, if they read it!

I listened to Mel when he was in Victoria just before the last federal election. While I had heard of most of what he said, there is a signficantly greater impact when it is all brought together and thrown at you.

You have to read this book, I am just taking a break and it is fantasticly dreadful to read! I mean how do you say the book is great when the subject is so damn scary, it brings me back to highschool or junior high when I wished they weren't scaring the poop out of me about Nuclear War, and now I wished they had scared more of us! This is critical to read, for the whole world, he has done another superb job of writing about a taboo subject, just the recount of those at Hiroshima or Nagisaki, is enough to blow your mind! The fact that there are more of them today and that many of them or 350 times as powerful as those two, says we need major efforts to disarm, non-proliferation treaties and major world abhorence for an adminstration that would even consider such methods. That is the only way, as far as I can see and I hope to be able to see the world in another 20 or 30 years??
