I think she played SRC like a violin. She seemed so demure, so honest. And CBC's interviews on the streets seem to back that up.

I'm glad Montrealers want to give her a second chance (from the CBC interviews on the street). It shows compassion, understanding. But Candian Justice is based on Punishment vs. Accountability. And she has never once shown remorse, or apologised to the parents of her victims, which is part of why she served every hour of her sentence. Perhaps she didn't even apologise to her own parents for the brutal rape and killing of her own sister.

La Francophonie I believe did not follow this story 12 years ago, because it may not have gotten as much air time as the ROC, but don't for one minute believe a word that woman says. Remember, she made the infamous 'deal with the devil' to testify against her husband, and only after she got the deal she produced videotape evidence that she strangled in cold blood those two girls that her husband raped.

I don't for a second believe that Quebecers will think she is a representative of English Canada.

Sociopaths can seemingly be some of the most honest, thoughtful and charming people you'll ever meet. They know no remorse though they know what it looks like and can mimic it without understanding the emotion.

Malheureusement, cette entrevue est symptomatique de la voie qu'a décidé de prendre la SRC récemment, soit celle du nivelage par le bas et du sensationalisme. C'est là un bel exemple de coup d'éclat digne des meilleures chaînes étatsuniennes et au diâble l'information sérieuse.
