The clinic in Cleveland already draws about 600 Canadian patients a year, said Dr. David Bronson, who will become chairman of the board of Cleveland Clinic Canada.
"We hope that, by being there and being prominent in the market and offering a positive product line, we will perhaps take some of that market share away from our friendly competition," Bronson said.
The clinic competes for Canadian patients with Johns Hopkins and the Mayo Clinic, Bronson said.

we are nothing more than sheep to be sheared.
take good care of your health and you will never have to visit one of those incompetent butchers that society calls ...doctors.
and you will never give BIGPHARMACORP anything, but the bird.
We all deserve good health care. We all pay for good health care. We don't pay for treatment in the hallways for all to see. Imagine needing a rectal examination immediatly only to find they have to conduct it out in the hall and the only person to be found to do it was the passing janitor who happens to have a plunger in his hand.
Far-fetched for sure yet, could it happen!?
Thanks Dio for helping me remember that I DIDN'T vote for Hitler...er.. Harper.

A little peice of heaven is found in good deeds.
And have you paid attention to the world lately? Have you realized that there is pretty much nothing that free enterprise can't do better than government? And you can claim that it would be all rush, rush, get you in, get you out but...at least you'd get in quickly. And it would never happen that they'd throw you out irresponsibly early because free market breeds competition. I don't like having to spell out the basic advantages to free enterprise but, clearly they've been ignored here.
It won’t even be too expensive. You'll be able to choose the insurance that's best for you, and with the taxes you'll no longer have to pay to fund our lumbering health care system you'll have no problem finding the money. As for the poorest of the poor, the government can still help them, or better yet they can use their welfare check to buy it themselves and still end up with better care.
But if you're so afraid of a little disparity that you'd rather us all be equally poor, then by all means, don't let people spend their money as they wish.
Both cases are in U.S. Courts
