This Canadian Message Brought To You By The U.S.

The federal government has for whatever reason, decided to change some of their policies on advertising. The one of alarming note is that the firm providing the service now only has to be 80% Canadian owned, versus the previously 100%. They reason that this will open the door to competition, and ultimately make things better for them and us.

I say, it's just one more avenue for foreign factions to push their agenda. Is it just me? Am I paranoid?

Even if we are paranoid, it doesn`t mean that they`re NOT out to get us! Piece by piece, our own government is allowing it to be taken! A few years from now, it could be down to 60%. After that.....

About.com is based in New York, and did you notice the link at the bottom that takes you to a page where you find out how the Canadian government works ?

I guess that\'s so they can look up anything they might want to bid on. Who knows ?
