BC To Bring Back Child Labour

The child labour that the B.C. Liberals intend to permit isn't the innocent sort, like a paper route or a little help for the family business. A child as young as 12 years old will be allowed to work full-time at any occupation under provincial jurisdiction, no matter how dangerous, with only the consent of one parent. That includes farm labour, and working in a paint plant, gas station, restaurant, or door-to-door sales.

    Sadly, harldy a soul in BC seems to even care. Nobody is taking notice and those that I have made pains to tell act in shock then forget.

    Are we becoming such an apathetic people that turning back the clock 100 years makes such a little impression upon the masses?

    Little by little, piece by piece, the corporate fascists tear it down and regress to a new dark age! Unfortunately, people are complacent! If a particular issue or piece of legislation doesn`t affect them, then they don`t care!

    I think they\'d care if it were easier for them to find out things like this. Right now I think it just takes too much effort to find out the facts.
