The Ban Is Lifted.

Brault said he found out that the "magic recipe" to get sponsorship contracts was to "lend a sympathetic ear" to the party's demands. In 1996, he testified, he met with Jacques Corriveau, head of Pluridesign and a key member of Jean Chrétien's Liberal leadership campaigns. Brault said that during a meeting on April 16, 1996, Corriveau asked him to "take under my wing for a period of a year, one person who was well liked" by the party – Serge Gosselin. Brault testified that Gosselin, a communications expert, never had an office at Groupaction and did little or no work. Nevertheless, Brault agreed to pay him more than $80,000. http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/2005/04/07/domery-ban050407.html http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/groupaction/brault_testimony.html

Being the cynic that I am, I don't think this will hurt the Liberals overall. Maybe in Quebec, not in the rest of Canada. If anything this will maybe help the Conservatives gain more seats if an election is held, which is not good news.

And keeping the Liberals in power is good news for Canadians?

Of course not. Having an NDP Government is what would be good news.

Liberals are not good, but if the puboic is angry enough to vote conservative, and we end up with a majority, well, you'll be wishing to have the liberals back.

The testimony released today was very bad. This is the sort of stuff that used to go on in the post-communist countries, and is still going on in young developing democracis around the globe. Im embarrassed as a canadian. This is just shameful.

Either way, CONservative or LIEberal, a Bilderberg cronie will be in power.

The Liberals are really Conservatives in Sheeps clothing. So a Harper government would break the Liberal era and perhaps get rid of some of their cabinet. Later we can get rid of the Harper gang in the same way. All we can do for now is keep both parties off balance.
We need a new Canada First party based on small campaign donations and the principle of people financial support only and representative government. We could do it.

I agree, having the conservatives in power would be the end of Canada as we know it. I want the Liberals out, but the alternatives are not that great, nothing against the NDP but their tax and spend dogma would send the country into a tailspin, not to mention some of their wacky ideas. We need a new centre party, one with ethics and integrity. If people in this country don't want to come out and change the system or start new parties, then they don't deserve a country.

My prediction is that a new party will take the Liberals' place as the centrist party, just like Reform took the PC's spot as the dominant rightwing party in the 1993 election.

I'm looking forward to Justice Gomery's report though, that will cause a huge stir - and perhaps then the country (the whole country, including the large majority of Anglophones and Francophones) will be, for the first time that I can recall since the rebellions of 1837-38, angry.

sponsorship kerfuffle is politics as usual. This is what Politicians do. They give the perks to those that support them. The zionist press (all mainstream media) is having a field day with this contrived scandal because they want to implement the NWO, and that means getting rid of the present power structure, ie. divide and conquer.

The Mainstream Press is taking the lead with this story, that means it is Suspect.

Why don't we hear of the scandals that involve the pilfering of the Canadian treasury to support Israel?

that, to me, is a bigger scandal.

Or how about the injustice of Ernst Zundel?

Lot's of news out there that smear english and french canadians, but what about the Bronfmans? They don't pay taxes!

Business as usual, let's screw over European Canadians, JUST US system hard at work.

It would be nice if English Canada could get upset and politically active on a mass scale as those in French Canada are. All I can say is that it's about bloody time.

My prediction is that a no confidence vote will be tabled before the budget is voted on and as a result we'll be heading to the polls at the end of June (at the latest). What do you think?

From the "zionist press" and "ernst zundle" shtick, it's pretty obvious we're dealing with a white supremacist with a room temperature I.Q.

I don't think the NDP would be a tax-and-spend party federally. Besides, what are the federal Libs doing now? My taxes sure haven't gone down...........
