Maybe something like a stumpage fee could be applied as well. It don't seem to bother the Americans that another natural resource such as oil, had also received government subsidies. Oh well! I guess Gordon Campbell will be damming the Fraser River now. The NAU will be taking care of the details.

Its just a matter of time now with Harper and his Conservative Party!

But, that is just my opinion after that Anti-Canadian softwood lumber deal is now signed. All that I keep thinking is that there is going to be civilians and citizens in North America and Canadians won't be citizens before I leave the living?
---
Perception is two thirds of what we perceive reality to be.
>>He argued water is a renewable resource, as opposed to such non-renewable Canadian exports as oil, natural gas, uranium and coal, adding that the two countries will eventually be forced to confront the issue.<<

If water is such a renewable resource then where did all the fresh water go in the U.S.A?

Also, with all the U.S. technology and ability why can’t they, Americans, clean the polluted water they do have and use it?

    >>But some experts say it's unlikely that the U.S. would bully Canada into exporting its water, since that could also affect the ecosystems and resources of northern states.<<

The U.S. didn’t care about ecosystems, pollution, the environment etc. in their own country all these decades do we really think they care what they do to Canada or Canadians?

All one has to do is look at the softwood lumber dispute to answer the question if it is unlikely that the U.S. would bully Canada into exporting its water?
