No Public Inquiry For Arar

Posted on Tuesday, December 23 at 12:23 by sthompson
Despite the calls for a public inquiry into the Maher Arar case from Amnesty Int, this site and others, CBC reports:

"OTTAWA - An independent committee will investigate all aspects of how the Canadian Security Intelligence Service handled the Maher Arar case...

...The review is expected to be completed by spring, but all its contents will not necessarily be released to the public, said Paule Gauthier, chair of the review committee."
