The New Normal

Posted on Friday, August 18 at 12:29 by sthompson
But who are they enforced upon? EVERYONE! Why? Because in the "New Normal" we are to believe that armoured checkpoints in every city across our country are a good thing. They are there to protect us. Imagine for a moment that these measures are not, in fact, put in place as a result of terrorist threats but are actually a fundamental mechanism blueprinted before 911 as part of the re-structuring for the New World Order. A dictatorship cannot rule without the elimination of dissenters. This is historically achieved through military and police rule. The most efficient way of defeating a democracy is to imprison the people opposed. How do you do that? First you take away civil rights allowing the government to monitor all communications in order to locate all citizens opposed or affiliated with dissenting groups or individuals. Then you change the law so that anyone can be arrested at any time without explanation or proofs. Then you flood the media with the ideology that anyone who stands in opposition is a potential threat or traitor to the New Order. Finally, you round up these traitors and put them where no-one has to worry about them any more. (If you haven't read my article "Trouble in Paradise" (link here) this would be a good time to read it. 500 new secret prisons across the U.S. with rail access and crematoriums all manned, powered and ready to go. FACT! These prisons are capable of holding literally millions. Our government has also been building these facilities and they have been built in Britain and elsewhere.) Why? And who are they for? Our Canadian census information was handed over by our government to the U.S. military this year. This is another FACT. Why? Our military boasts a "NEW" way of thinking. Why? American state troopers and civilian minutemen are granted access onto our sovereign soil and integrate with our law enforcement regardless of long standing differences between our laws and cultures. Why? You would have to be unconscious not to recognize the "WHY" to all of these questions. The implications are inescapable. "Papers please".... Our own soldiers and police can round up citizens in our own country by order of our own government and we could easily be imprisoned in our own country, and elsewhere, for being "anti-American", or for a number of other trumped-up charges which could be laid under our own Canadian version of the American "The Patriot Act" here. We could be called urban, homegrown terrorists and traitors for speaking out against totalitarianism and fascism. We could be ostracized and discredited in our communities and given little or no opportunity to defend ourselves or access to any kind of lawful defence and denied basic civil rights inherent to us as Canadian citizens. Our homes could be confiscated, our assets frozen and rerouted and we could be sent to one of the many detention facilities (Prison camps) described in my earlier article, (Trouble in Paradise). Soon our greatest fear could be no longer from so-called extremist foreign terrorists, but from the scrutiny of our own communities and local authorities. In the U.K. laws are already being changed to sacrifice human rights for new security legislation. In Canada our government is considering transferring the interpretation of parts of our Charter of Rights and Freedoms to the R.C.M.P. and CSIS. Authorities will be imprisoning patriots and branding us insurgents on our own soil and our neighbours will complacently watch them take us away because it will be the "new normal". One of the excerpts from "Trouble in Paradise" that should disturb you more than anything else you may have read to date is the report to F.E.M.A. from a U.S. new prison facility boasting the capacity for their crematorium to handle as much as 3,000 per day. On the FOX network yesterday, a U.S. military analyst, when asked about negotiating with anti-American regimes and ideologists opposed to the "Coalition", actually said, "We'll ask them what they think when we kill them". On a C.B.C. radio program today one caller even suggested that it may be time to consider bringing back internment camps.... It makes me sick when I hear Canadians talking about ungrateful immigrants and closing up our borders. These big talkers, whose own ancestors once emigrated here so that their sons and daughters could be afforded the freedoms we have enjoyed to date, can so self-righteously deny others those same freedoms. And why not? 90% of t.v. news and newspapers ingrain this kind of thinking into our consciousness every day. If our shortcoming in the past has been complacency, our induction and absorption will be our future demise ... When the Aryan nation starts buying land in your city or town and your children start using words to describe minorities that they never used before. When community gossip leads to profiling and vigilante mentalities begin to take root, and when it finally becomes simpler and safer to mind your own business and keep your mouth shut than it is to run the risk of asking "WHY", then you will have arrived at "the new normal". There's a saying that goes "Don't trouble trouble until trouble troubles you". It's a good play on words and good advice if you're referring to grizzly bears or rattlesnakes, but in the case of Freedom vs The New World Order, it's simply too little too late. This will be a struggle like no other, and drawing the line will be perilous. However, to be quiet now is to forever silence those who depend on us to speak in their defence. That's what Canadians do. That is the rock upon which we built this country and that is why I urge you now to stand up for everything you (we) STAND FOR. The United Nations votes on a resolution presented by the Arab nations to end the war in Lebanon. This resolution would ensure Hezbollah's retreat, Israel would have retreated and allowed the Lebanese army to control Lebanon's borders. The only countries opposed to this resolution were the U.S. coalition countries (of which Canada now considers itself a member), France and, of course, Israel. INSTEAD a unanimous vote adopted a French / U.S. resolution which everyone is against except (you guessed it) the Coalition, France & Israel. How did that happen? ALL media is focused on the latest so-called terrorist plot in the U.K. Absolutely NOTHING on the Arab resolution. Instead , the next day we get the U.S. / French resolution which was broadly criticized (and rightly so) by members of the U.N. for its part in keeping Israeli military in Lebanon, having no real safeguards in preventing more bloodshed, strongly favouring the Israeli agenda and proposing the intervention of a "NEW" more "AGGRESSIVE" U.N./NATO "FORCE" to oversee Lebanon's "RESTRUCTURING". How can this resolution be so unpopular one day and then overnight ( take 24 muslims to jail and call me in the morning) it is reported on mainstream media as a resolution voted "unanimously" by the United Nations? Planes grounded. "homegrown" muslim terrorists arrested. High Alert. Hundreds of deaths at the hands of extremists averted. Quite a diversion isn't it? The headlines we didn't see were "All hopes for peaceful resolution in Lebanon averted today by right wing extremists. Thousands more expected to die. U.S., France, Israel and other coalition regimes elude prosecution. " Do we really want our sons and daughters to be put in further harm's way, to be brainwashed and USED as human fodder, to kill and die NOT for freedom, NOT for democracy but for something as sick and evil as Global corporate domination? Our men and women are dying so that George Adolph Bush, with the aid of the military superpowers of the world, can achieve total global domination!! And that my friends, is the ULTIMATE "EXTREME" in DICTATORSHIP, TOTALITARIANISM & FASCISM! Also, affectionately known as : "The new normal". The New Totalitarianism

by Norman Livergood (fomerly of the US Army War College)

People throughout the world must become aware that this new totalitarianism is completely unlike any previous geopolitical power structure. Its very essence is annihilation; it possesses no redeeming or mitigating feature. To allow yourself to think of these people as simply foolish, incompetent, irrational, or wrong-headed is as mistaken and misinformed as thinking that Hitler was merely a well-meaning but mistaken fearless leader of his people.

Uninformed people will say: "The Bush administration surely doesn't want to let the United States go to ruin, they have too much at stake. They must realize they're not winning in Iraq."

They don't care a straw for what happens to American workers or the U.S. infrastructure; they gain power and wealth through annihilation--we must get that fixed in our minds! The more America becomes a drug-ridden war zone with a blasted economy, the more young people are forced to become "cannon fodder" for the cabal wars; they have no other jobs to go to. The cabal is not losing the war in Iraq, it's winning!

SNIP

The new totalitarianism doesn't maintain even the pretense of democratic rule; it's established an unabashed dictatorship (think domestic spying, warrantless arrests, and seizure of all three branches of the federal government). Without ongoing warfare, a totalitarian regime is unable to obtain acquiescence in its "legitimacy" or right to rule the society. The possibility and actuality of war provide the sense of external necessity which dictatorships require to remain in power. Thus the Reichstag syndrome: the deliberate orchestration of attacks against the nation by the ruling faction which are "spun" into external aggression by a foreign power: the 1933 Reichstag fire, 9/11, the Spanish and British railway bombs, and stay tuned for another cabal-orchestrated "terrorist attack" in a theater of operation near you.

A totalitarian autocracy finds war to be a very effective ideological clarifier. People are either for the junta or against it. During armed conflict, there are, to put it simply, only two sides to a question because there cannot be more than two sides to a war. You are either "for" the brave soldiers fighting in Iraq (or Iran, or ?) or you are "for" the evil terrorists.

The wars of totalitarian regimes are, therefore, not "caused" by international conflicts of interest. A war-making dictatorship requires--and thus brings about--such conflicts. With the only goals the amassing of wealth and power by the ruling elite, the capacity of a nation to make war expresses the greatest social power it can exercise.
I figure the next place for security to show up in the public domain, will be at the shopping malls (maybe even for this Christmas). "They" have to be careful how "they" pursue this increasing restriction on our freedom of movement. "They" do not want us to quit spending money, and so just practice their craft at the periphery of most Canadians' eyesight. MOST Canadians DON'T fly, so airport security is something we just read about. Then the dutyfree shops close down (however temproarily), but that's only a few hundred people out of work, and most Canadians do not buy at duty free. A grander move will be a the malls, if only because it is a good place for "terrorists" to threaten. And it is a simple (as well as "reasonable") thing to set up security at the entrances for "papers please".

Always on the pretense " it's for your own safety". People don't count. It's for the betterment of the country. "Don't ask what the country can do for you but what you can do for your country" In a capitalist country we know who the country represents and we know there's no point asking.. One may wonder if troops will be retrained to do the "goose step".

Too "in your face" at this time. However, I was struck by the similarity of American infantry helmets and the coal scuttle helments of the Wehrmacht (the Stahlhelm) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stahlhelm
---
"We can have a democracy or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of the few. “Medd's Rants & Raves” Rant is right, one must be very careful about what is information and what is disinformation. There are several of what is obviously disinformation in this piece which brings into doubt the validly of ANYTHING said in this article. The conspiracy bunch is pushing their theory’s with as much disinformation as the political bunch are disseminating theirs., I was surprised to see Ms Thompson posting something with so many obvious errors in FACTS in it, for instance…..

“500 new secret prisons across the U.S. with rail access and crematoriums all manned, powered and ready to go. FACT! ……………………Our government has also been building these facilities and they have been built in Britain and elsewhere…………….
………..report to F.E.M.A. from a U.S. new prison facility boasting the capacity for their crematorium to handle as much as 3,000 per day.”

Oh really! That’s a BIG furnace! Where are the links to prove this, obviously not much of a secret if its posted here, this sounds like hype to me. Can anyone say that this is fact as claimed?

    And another one…………….

“Our Canadian census information was handed over by our government to the U.S. military this year. This is another FACT.”

I know that many Canadians are upset with our government using a U.S. company to provide SOFTWARE to collect out census information and that there is the POTENTIAL for the U.S. government to force that company to release any information that they MAY HAVE, but I was unaware that “the information has been handed over to the U.S. military” !

Many of us have some concern about “Big Brother” government and there is little doubt that the Bush regime is out of control, but rants like this that spout OPINIONS and say they are facts do little to help the situation, in point of fact they do a real disservice to those that are trying to educate us to the machinations of a bunch of power hungry politicians and corporate backers and are genuinely concerned about the erosion of our civil rights.

The "new totaliarism" is caused by the fact that wealth can not be created, only taken.

As the resource base of the Earth shrinks, the population and the demands of the stockmarkets increase, the only way wealth can be taken is by the use of ever increasing and more force, while brainwashing people to believe that this is "democracy our enemies want to destroy".

This is why we now have the B52s over our heads all the time. I don't know how many we had yesterday, but as I was walking to my shop at around 2:30 pm, there were 2 crossing each other, one of them flying West, the other South.

They have more bases throughout the globe then there are fly's. Including North Bay, Ontario:

Critical information on air sovereignty events is forwarded to the North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD) in Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado, where it is in turn passed on to the command authorities--the President of the United States and the Prime Minister of Canada--to decide on the appropriate responses.

Due to this binational nature of the NORAD agreement, some 32 American personnel belonging to the USAF's 722 Support Squadron work in the Canadian Sector Air Operations (SAOC). Training of the personnel who perform the air sovereignty mission is done by 51 AC&W (Operational Training) Squadron, an integral unit of 22 Wing.

Be prepared for more false-flag terror attacks as fear of terrorism and random acts of terror seems to be the standard modus operandi for instilling unquestioning obedience to authority in the sheeple.

From a post at http://rigint.blogspot.com :

You're a Belgian, and it's 1985. For three years, the province of Brabant has been traumatized by an unexplained wave of exceptionally brutal assaults upon unexceptional targets (supermarkets, restaurants, factories; the common places of ordinary people). Theft is not the motive; only small amounts of money are stolen by the hooded men, seemingly for incident, and often found dumped soon after. The motive is only terror.

From Daniele Ganser's description of the final attack, November 9, on the Delhaize supermarket in Aalst:

A prominent day in the Christmas season, November 9 is St Martin's day in Belgium, the local Santa Claus, and children on the night before leave carrots in front of the house for the horse of St Martin and go to bed with wishes for wonderful Christmas presents. The next morning, a busy Saturday, people hurried to the Delhaize supermarket to make their last minute purchases. What happened thereafter was reconstructed from the testimony of witnesses. A Volkswagon GTI was parked outside the supermarket and three armed men with hoods over their heads came out of the car. The tallest of the three produced a pump-action shotgun, opened fire at point blank range and finished off in cold blood two shoppers instantly. Upon reaching the checkout counter he began to fire randomly at anything that moved. "I saw three masked men coming out at the rear. A man said to his child "Drop down! There they are! ... One bystander who tried to flee was shot at, seven or eight bullets through his car and a shot grazing behind the ear." Total panic reigned. "One woman whose face was covered in blood, was screaming something about her child. I don't know exactly what." There was little cover or shelter for the terrified shoppers in the aisles of the supermarket from the three masked gunmen. In the ensuing massacre eight people, including a whole family, died, and seven more were injured. A husband and wife and their 14-year-old daughter were finished off in cold blood at the supermarket checkout. Another father and his nine-year old daughter were killed in their car trying to flee. The takings from the raid amounted to a meagre couple of thousand pounds, found later in a canal in an unopened sack. The killers escaped without a trace and have not been identified, nor arrested, nor tried ever since. The actors behind the series known as the Brabant massacres remain unidentified until today.

But that's not all we know.

In 1990 a parliamentary report into the massacres concluded that the killers were members or former members of the security forces: "extreme right-wingers who enjoyed high-level protection and were preparing a right-wing coup," wrote Phil Davidson in Britain's The Independent on Sunday. "The Brebant killings were part of a conspiracy to destabilize Belgium's democratic regime, possibly to prepare the ground for a right-wing coup." Just months later, the hidden architecture of fascist terror was revealed when Belgium's secret "stay behind" army - its own Gladio network - was disclosed. (It's from Ganser's NATO's Secret Armies, which tells similar stories from all across Western Europe, that the above excerpt is drawn.)
It is just after 7 pm and I was out to collect the eggs from the chicken house. There was a B 52 flying South, the usual pattern, making a slight course correction to the left over Williams Lake and within a minute another one flying West.

We call them the "idiot planes" and shudder to consider the incredible amounts of fuel they waste and the pollution they cause, not to mention the H bombs they carry over our heads all the time. I calculated once that during the time I can see one of them they waste enough fuel to run all my equipment, tractors and truck for 5 years.
