If you want to contribute to this petition it is on this site. Also this petition is on a site designed strictly for petitions anyone may want to set up. We might find it useful for a Vive petition. ie. Lockheed Martin boycott? http://www.peaceinspace.org/

In Canada, our government does not accept petitions that use online signatures. So an online petition using a site like petition online is probably about as effective here as just sending emails, except that we can send emails quickly and easily through our own site. The only way to effectively create an online petition that the government will officially receive and then has to take action on is to have a downloadable petition and collect physical signatures through the mail, which is not nearly as quick and easy for people as a true online petition, although still worth doing. In that case you need an MP, or an MLA etc provincially, to sponsor the petition and present it to the government.

Now call it extreme if you like, but I propose we hit it hard, and we hit it fast, with a major, and I mean major, leaflet campaign.--Rimmer, Red Dwarf

Very true Susan, but a short well written letter via email or snail mail can also get their attention.

    So everyone do both!
