The Frasier institute quite nicely ignores the issue of extended patents and drug costs....The generic makers are just as money-hungry I guess, so Robin Matthews article on exaggerated manufacturing costs becomes all the more relevant. The generic makers don't have to do much research at all, so shame on Apotex.     Banks should be forced to use some of the capital they've accrued from gouging individuals and businesses for electronic services to capitalize new players in the generic drug market, thus supporting the free market.

    Of course, we'd need to verify the bona fides of the new players to ensure they're of good character and not planning to embark on an illicit enterprise that could endanger U.S. security and bring the wrath of Bush burning down on us.
