New National Anthem

Posted on Thursday, January 29 at 12:48 by sthompson
O CANADA, Where pines and maples grow. Great prairies spread and the Empire it does grow. How dear to us their broad domain, the sun rarely sets on it, Thou land of hope for all who toil, Thou TRUE NORTH on bended knee. God keep our land glorious and free, O Canada, we sacrifice to the south for thee, O Canada, we genuflect to the south for thee. O CANADA, beneath thy shining skies, American CEOs sons and daughters rise. To keep us steadfast through the years, American birds of prey and warbirds they do fly. Our own beloved native land, Our true north on bended knee. Caesar keep our land, glorious and free, O NEW ROME, we stand on guard for thee, O NEW ROMANS, we stand on guard for thee. Ruler Supreme, Who hearest humble prayer, WHO holds our Dominion in judicious care? Help us to find, O God, in thee a lasting rich reward, As waiting for the better day, We bow south to our real LORD. God keep our land glorious and free, O CANADA, how do we stand on guard for THEE? O CANADA, we stand on guard for THEE. RS Dart

This is not an anthem I will be memorizing; however true it may seem...is it a prophecy? I sure hope not!!! This is sad sad sad, but if we don\'t soon wake up it could be oh so true!

Yeah, I agree N Say--the rhyming and timing is a little forced. Still, it\'s got a very good point.

That globalresearch.ca site is really good. Some of their stuff sounds a bit paranoid/conspiratorial but they\'ve got really good stuff too, like that even back in the 40s when Canada was almost one of the superpowers (4th-biggest military, 4th-biggest economy, etc) the US regarded Canada as \"a useful hostage\" to maintaining good US-UK relations (from declassified documents). It\'s run by U of Ottawa econ prof Michel Chossudovsky.

Really? I thought Hargrove was better than most. He has criticized some government decisions.
