Memorandum Of Understanding Between BC & South Korea

South Korea is B.C.’s fourth-largest export market, with total exports valued at almost $1.4 billion last year. The MOU signals B.C.’s intention to work with KITA to exchange information and co-ordinate promotional activities designed to increase trade and investment between British Columbia and South Korea. It also follows recommendations contained in the latest report by the Korea Market Advisory Group of the Asia Pacific Trade Council.

KITA is Korea’s largest and most influential trade organization, with over 66,000 member companies. Its activities include supporting overseas marketing for Korean corporations, facilitating international trade co-operation, educating international trade specialists and advising the Korean government and international bodies on a wide range of trade related matters.
