Yes, Lockheed Martin is still doing it. You can get a complete picture of the actions we've taken so far and the results here.
As far as what's next for Vive, the quick answer is that we will continue to post updates about the issue on the site as we get them and keep raising awareness until the census in 2006. I am also maintaining contact with various reporters and they are interested in pursuing any new developments in the story.
At the government level, Dick Proctor has submitted a motion to the House asking the government to reconsider the contract, and when that actually gets debated we'll let you know what happens. With a federal election the focus is there for the moment.
The way I see it, the main goal for everyone right now needs to be to get a pro-Canadian government in power, because then that government can address issues like this. It's possible we could make it an election issue, especially in ridings where NDP candidates and MPs who were involved in the action are running (ie, me, Bill Blaikie, and Dick Proctor).
But the real answer is that it depends on Vive users and readers. What do you want us to do next? What are your ideas, and what are you willing to do on this issue?
---
Now call it extreme if you like, but I propose we hit it hard, and we hit it fast, with a major, and I mean major, leaflet campaign.--Rimmer, Red Dwarf
PS And in 2006 we will organize a boycott of the actual census if necessary, which is why it's important to raise awareness and build site support until then.

If there was ever a time for Canadians to become pushy - now is the time - for time is running out on this nation called Canada.

Check your connection logs for the IP above...the site must have links to a spyware site for when you connect. I'm running PeerGuardian by Methlabs...peerguardian is blocking the link because of the "Globix Trial Range Corporation" IP.

How did the boycott of the test go? Anyone got any numbers from Stat Can? Were they disapointed in their results?

Added a link in the main story, thanks. Not sure why susan linked to meetup, other than it's a good thing for people to sign up for.

As for the spyware connection, I have read through the meetup code and can't see anything that should be setting off alarms. I suspect a false positive on the part of your blocking software.
