The NEO-Conservative Platform For America

Posted on Friday, November 12 at 15:06 by Gundamtidus
If we look at the current projections be economists it looks something like this.... American Budget Defect 448 billion dollars Canadian Budget Surplus 10 Billion dollars American Debt 8 Trillion Dollars Canadian Debt 550 Billion Dollars Expected pay back of the Canadian Debt 30-55 and the Current Rate (why the such an Uncertain number well with the Current economic growth which is being stimulated because of the Surplus no one is really sure those are actually conservative estimates some economists are even say 10-15 years) Value lost by the American dollar since the start of this year against the Canadian Dollar 8 percent. The Cost of Starwars 1 trillion dollars a year to be added to the Deficit. (America alone will take the burden) Many economists predict this would mean a World with out a single Superpower but a flourishing economy in Europe and Canada.

You know, this happened once before. In the 30's. People were seriously talking socialism and revolution. The ruling elite had all the money and resources and didn't want to share it. The money system in America had totally collapsed. One fouth of the country was out of work. People were starving to death. The food chain was devalued to such a point, that farmers could not affort to harvest and sell their crops. Squaler and poverty were rampent. And the Republicans knocked out Roosevelt's social programs as fast as he could put them in place. Well, we don't have a Roosevelt in place to save our sorry butts.

I was looking up capitalism and the Renaissaince with some interest. As long as we have capitalism, humanity is screwed. We need something else. But what?

I haven't read a lot about it, but there's participatory economics. Look up the book with that title, by Robin Hahnel (which I haven't read, but which is on my list).

I don't think humanity is screwed. There's no reason some capitalism couldn't be allowed, as long as it was regulated, and focused on innovation, not plundering.

And about Roosevelt--one of the most corrupt people on the face of the earth--he knew about Pearl Harbourm among other things.
