Peters, who is on unpaid suspension, faces direct indictment, meaning there will be no preliminary hearing and the case will proceed directly to trial. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/story/2007/02/07/rcmp-torture.html

"Glenn Shuter, 25, alleges a police officer drove him about 10 kilometres outside the small town of Merritt in August 2005. Shuter, who is accused of stealing a police officer's bicycle, alleges the officer beat him and left him to walk home."

Torture? Yeah,

I'd like to see the guys who handed Arar over to US agents charged with 'wilfully aiding in the torture of a Canadian citizen'.

"I'd like to see the guys who handed Arar over to US agents charged with 'wilfully aiding in the torture of a Canadian citizen'."

Didn't you hear the news? It was just a mistake made by over reactive spooks trying to protect us from their own made up terrorists. It's all over because someone that no one ever heard of before resigned over it into a luxurious and relaxing retirement. Arar got a formal apology right from the King of Kanada, and he also got $10 Mil of our hard earned tax money - that'll teach 'em never to mess with our civil liberties again! They even promised to make up better watch lists and to make absolutely certain that the next kidnapping victim is really not innocent and won't live long enough to make up such a fuss. Besides, the Monkey who rules the land south of the border is to blame, and what about those horribly trained Syrian dentists? Surely what they did is not Kanada's fault!

It's been repeated enough times over the loud speakers, so get with the program or you'll end up on one of those watch lists the new government promises to protect us from.
