Who Is Standing For Canada?

Posted on Saturday, December 17 at 13:13 by whelan costen
No other leader, except Canadian Action Party Leader Connie Fogal, is willing to call him on that duplicity. Instead, "Conservative Leader Stephen Harper turned the issue back on the Liberals, noting it was the sponsorship corruption that breathed new life into the sovereignty movement in Quebec." While they play one up-manship on Canadians, we are left with no significant facts to make an informed decision on who is really standing for Canada. In an attempt to further confuse the issue, media explodes in the faces of Canadians with various headlines that imply, 'Mr. Martin has made a huge mistake!' He has made the great military giant to the south angry. The charade is being played out for all to see. Make no mistake, it is a charade or a game of chance. Mr. Martin can ferociously speak the words Canadians want to hear, but they are not truth! They are duplicitous and misleading. In March 2005 he signed an agreement with the Presidents of Mexico and the U.S. for the 'destructering' of Canada. Our water, our oil, our very nation is in the process of becoming a colony. Canada, the United States and Mexico, will each be part of a corporate military fortress. Mr. Martin's announcement that he 'will not be dictated to on the issues he wishes to raise', is mere shadow boxing. Remember BMD. He declared to the Canadian people, "We said no to Ballistic Missile Defence" but the evidence clearly indicates he said yes! Mr.Harper has made it public that he wants closer ties, and more free trade deals. He is quoted thus, '"The Americans are our best friend, our closest ally and our most important trading partner; we should never forget that". Is that a threat or a promise? Mr. Harper made it very clear that joining the illegal war in Iraq, an unnecessary bloodbath, was his preference. Canadian Action Party says, 'We must never forget Mr Harper's preference!' Conservatives brought us and un -fair investment agreement in the FTA, not free trade. The Liberals promised to cancel the FTA. Instead, they upheld it and compounded the problem by bringing in NAFTA. These are the most unfair trade deals to Canadians, including softwood lumber, beef, crops and more. Mr. Harper may be frightening to many Canadians because they believe he espouses the same war/religion ideology as Mr.Bush, but he isn't as frightening as the Liberals when they say one thing and do another! We are at war, of this we have no doubt. It is a war for the survival of Canada as a free, sovereign nation. The secret deals have been made; the only thing left is the corporate seal! None of the four prominent political parties in Canada are willing to expose the treasonous deals made in Canada's name without a mandate from the people. Democracy is only effective if the people are consulted. The people of Canada were not asked if they wanted to become a colony under corporate rule. This election Canadians must demand answers. Who signed away our rights, our country and our freedom? Every member of parliament who was complicit in these deals must be held accountable now. Canadian Action Party is the only political party willing to state the facts in this election. This is what journalists are not exposing and because they refuse to investigate and declare it, all Canadians will have much to suffer under this new corporate regime! -30- Connie Fogal, Leader ,Canadian Action Party/ parti action Canadienne Tel: (604)872 2128; or (604) 708 3372 (FAX: 604) 872 -1504 E-MAIL conniefogal@telus.net Canadian ActionParty Head office : # 385- 916 West Broadway, Vancouver BC, V521K7; e mail: info@canadianactionparty.ca Canadian Action Party President Catherine Whelan Costen Tel: 403-660-0449 email: cathpublish@wildroseinternet.ca [Proofreader's note: this article was edited for spelling and typos on December 17, 2005]

Where do these releases go? I dont see them in the papers or on tv. I never see them anywhere but here. Do they not get published by the media? Why don't more people know about the party?

They go out to all media, whether they print or not is their option. That is the problem. Why aren't there any investigative reporters asking the questions? Why don't they reveal the facts. Everything we are talking about it available on the government website, on the CCCE website, on the financial statements of the Government of Canada. Why don't they read and report the truth. The Martin/Fox/Bush agreement was reported in the news, just not what it means. The same as the important clause in NAFTA, or the Smart Border plans, or the plan for a North American Century and on and on...its all there...just ignored. Why?

You mean you send them out to CBC and they do not ever acknowledge that the Canadian Action Party lives? Christ I though they would at least give a party that tax payers are members of some space, maybe the Canadian Action Party should lobby Paul Martin's Liberal to hit us with a tax hike so he could pass it onto the free wheeling and VERY Public CBC, you know Catherine that great public funded broadcaster.
How much more than a Billion do you think we the taxpayers should give the CBC, before they get the guts to perform like "our" public broadcaster?

Why isn't anyone talking about Martin's comments last night during the debate? He gave this passionate defence of Canada and Quebec, but why did he not do the same during the French language debate? Where was his passion then?

The whole 'don't you take destroy my children's country' nonsense was a heavily scripted and pathetic attempt to show English Canada that as Prime Minister he's defending Canada in Quebec, which is complete nonsense. Every French Canadian prime minister has played English Canada like a fiddle by saying they're defending federalism in Quebec, while they coddle and condone the separatists behind our backs and acquiesce to their every whim and demand.

Martin goes on about defending minority rights and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, then why hasn't the Liberal Party ever challenged Bill 101 in Quebec? His words are hollow and vain. Francophones in English Canada enjoy rights and simple luxuries like having their children learn their native language in school, while English Canadians in Quebec are told that if you don't like, leave.

Who is standing up for Canada? Apparently no one...

Why am I not talking about Paul Martinds speech? Because ghe is full of shit and is an asshole that flys flags of other countries on his family owned SHIPS.

Need I say more about that hypocrite two faced pice of shit. To think I was a Liberal for 23 years, christ I was a FOOL . Is that the answer you were looking for?

Martin is indeed a piece of crap.A lying, nervous,
    deceptive, evasive, stuttering, stammering, slick,
    slimy, pathetic,
    Americanizing, Corporatizing, corrupt
WAFFLER.A petrified fence-sitter who does his
little dance of appeasement to the left while secretly
    marching to the right.

Gone are the days of the Trudeau era, Turner era liberals.
And gone are the days of the Clark era conservatives.
The LIBS and CONS are both totally untrustworthy.

Vote NDP, Green, CAP or independant. The LIBS and CONS
are both non-transparent.What you think you see is a
    mirage.

"Mr. Harper made it very clear that joining the illegal war in Iraq, an unnecessary bloodbath, was his preference. Canadian Action Party says, 'We must never forget Mr Harper's preference!'"

Keep in mind that if it has been Bill Clinton or Al Gore asking, Chretien would have sent Canadian troops. Liberals only turn down American presidents when they're Republicans.

"Gone are the days of the Trudeau era, Turner era liberals."

Good riddance! Trudeau was an arrogant statist with a soft spot for Marxist dictators.

"And gone are the days of the Clark era conservatives."

Good riddance! The Red Tories were nothing more than a spare tire for the Liberals. A real opposition party should actually have (gasp) different ideas from the party in government.

"The LIBS and CONS are both totally untrustworthy."

Why don't you have another hit, Trailing Whitespace? You sound like you need to mellow out.

Political grand-standing is an ancient tradition. What is troublesome, is those issues that have been resolved before, make a comeback. Many issues don't materialize simply because no politican wants to cross the bridge. Only "safe" issues are ever discussed even when elected. At one time Canada was to be Nuclear free. Then it became only provincal specific. Today, not even an eyebrow is raised when nuclear reactors are being discussed. "Missile Defence" was settled years ago and again it's being discussed. Safe issues are issues already resolved but rehashed again because we all know the verdict.

A guy like you who continually remains "anonymous" is real tiring and boring. If you hate Canada so much, leave. Please. Now.

At least have the guts to create an identity.

Quote from above: "Missile Defence" was settled years ago and again it's being discussed.

Missile Defence was agreed to, not settled. When you tell people one thing and do another it is not settled. We the people don't want to be part of the warmongering mentality that is driving the world. It will be settled when we aren't part of it.

Missile Defence was agreed to, not settled<

I'm refering to the supposed settlement 20 years or more.

We aren't part of the warmonger mentality, but the loudest voice appears to come from the few that are. Video games and the lack of the "real smells of war", make the new generations fathom a fantasy. The new war pictures come from Hollywood will prove that war is great!
