Great Lakes Machine Guns Raise Ire In Canada

Posted on Thursday, September 28 at 15:28 by rearguard
Since the beginning of the year, the Coast Guard have conducted 24 drills, each time firing about 3,000 rounds of lead bullets about a third of the size of a fishing-line sinker from light-weight machine guns in waters at least eight kilometres from the Canadian border and U.S. shores. Two more target practices are scheduled for this year. In Halifax on Thursday, the commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard said his country is within its rights to arm vessels on the Great Lakes. "to prepare officers to combat terrorists flooding across the border from Canada by boat"

What, they think that Canadians will be attacking the USA by boat?

The more likely scenario, is for Canadians to kick out the traitors who are selling off this country and tear up their phoney agreements.

It is the right of the US Coastguard, as long as they stay their side. The wall between the two countries can't be quick enough. Perhaps the wall should be so far south that no shot fired would ever reach Canada. They could put land mines, barbwire and broken glass between the border and that wall. It's time Canadians learn to live without the Americans. East and West Germany had for many years.

Kinda silly altogether, but here are some questions:

    1. Where exactly is the International Boundary in the Great Lakes?

    2. Is it just "somewhere in the middle" or is it shown in a treaty?

    3. Is it marked with bouys or lights?

    4. Could Canada stop the US Coast Guard from polluting Canadian waters with lead (or depleted uranium for that matter) if they shoot across the "line in the water?"

    5. Small vessels or not, but how can officials determine that a treaty is not violated?
