    "Unlike Canada, the United States and Mexico which represent two different worlds."

    I guess this should be restated as "three different worlds."

    Although I fully realize that Canada is "less different" from the US than Mexico.

    Note also that the European Union consists of autonomous states who agreed to cooperate completely on many levels, but not on their nationalities.
