US forces are in constant consultation with Iraqi museums and they don't seem to have a problem with the occupation the way the British Museum or the Guardian do.
In fact, the Iraqis would seem to prefer that the 'insurgents' would stop blowing things up and using Mosques as toilets and sniper locations.
Hey troll - ask them Iraqis if they would extend that feeling to all the ancient treasures looted after the fall of Baghdad. You know the ones, the ones the Americans left unguarded while they protected the oil industry.
Using Babylon AT ALL for a military base, just shows American contempt for rule of law, sanctity of things ancient, and a total disregard for others culture.
