Lockheed Still Involved With Software/Hardware: Reader

Posted on Tuesday, May 11 at 13:42 by sthompson
The Citizen article contained errors: LM is still involved in the census Test and the 2006 Census. Bill's words in the House the other day are not entirely accurate: "....that is, eliminated" Lockheed Martin has not been eliminated. The impression left is that LM is out of the picture. This is not true. Please DO NOT use my name. ---------- So it sounds as though our "victory" isn't quite complete. Today is test day, so either way our action ends tonight. But I will leave the boycott info up today for anyone who still wishes to participate.

So they have mislead us again. We should document this deception and write it up as an example of how this government treats the concerns of its citizens. We should make sure it is spread far and wide during the election campaign. I trust you (Susan) are keeping Bill Blakie up to date on this?

Er, by talking about it on a public forum, we are already documenting it...

Yes, I've forwarded it to reporters and Bill Blaikie. It wouldn't hurt for readers of the site to send emails/make calls to the Ottawa Citizen and other media to ask them to look into this. The more people ask the question, the more likely they will answer it publicly.

And yeah, it's documented here by us posting it.

I am going to call a contact at the Province and Sun and ask them if they are interested.

Are we suggesting that Paul Martin and his Liberals have been less than honest in order to feed their corporate buddies and curry favour with the Bush boys? Nah, that could never happen.

What do we do if turns out we've been lied to?

    I don't know Bill personally but I don't think
he would work this long on this project
and deliberately tell us lies...so if he is
wrong then someone is telling him lies...but who??
