Since we set up the new email form last week for emailing about the Lockheed Census deal, about 30 people have used it to send emails to the new Industry Minster, PM PM, etc. This is a good rate considering this time around people have to be logged in as members (to prevent abuse).
As a result, we now have 363 registered users (members). We are also using a new "activity rating" system that automatically assigns people an activity rating based on how many articles they've posted etc. This will allow us to tell how many of our users are active; active users will get voting rights, and we could also do things like give out bumper stickers etc to active members as incentive once in a while.
Active members are increasing slowly but steadily. I am getting submissions to the site every day now, and often have up to 10 different submissions. We are also getting an increasing number of people who are returning to the site regularly to post comments under their usernames rather than as "anonymous".
Other stuff--we are working on developing a new logo which is reproducible in any medium (not just on the web) and incorporates our site name with a pro graphic designer on our advisory. We have $62 running money owed to us from John Riddell's videos.
I'll send an update on incorporation soon, but by-laws etc are all done.
