Integrate This! Teach-In (Council Of Canadians)

To make sure everything runs smoothly, we're asking people to register for Integrate This! in advance. Not only will it help us plan but it will get you into the teach-in quickly so you won't miss a thing. Confirmed speakers already include: * Judy Rebick, activist and founder of Rabble.Ca * Maureen Webb, human rights lawyer, activist and author of Illusions of Security: Global Surveillance and Democracy in the Post-9/11 World * Maude Barlow, national chairperson of the Council of Canadians * Elizabeth May, leader of the Green Party of Canada * Dorval Brunelle, professor at the University of Quebec in Montreal and director of the Observatory of the Americas * Hassan Yussuff, secretary-treasurer of the Canadian Labour Congress * Peter Julian, NDP Member of Parliament (Burnaby-New Westminster) and NDP International Trade Critic And confirmed workshops include: * Scott Sinclair of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives on "Leaving NAFTA" * Janet Dench of the Canadian Council for Refugees on the "Smart Border Declaration" * Gordon Laxer of the Parkland Institute on "Energy Security and the SPP" * Janet Eaton of the Sierra Club of Canada on "Atlantica" * Sid Lacombe of the Canadian Peace Alliance on "The Home Front in the 'War on Terror'" * Roch Tasse of the International Civil Liberties Monitoring Group on “The Security Agenda” * Murray Dobbin on TILMA Click here to register now for Integrate This!
