Arma-Geddon Sick Of You: World To US As Americans Prepare To Level Fallujah

Posted on Tuesday, November 09 at 13:58 by 4Canada
By Daniel Patrick Welch Taken from Alternative Press Review Bush's Sword of Damocles is poised above the people and city of Fallujah, ready to wreak the pent-up wrath his addled brain thinks his tainted election victory permits. This is the bizarre world-in-a-bubble in which most Americans reside. With a chorus of Onward, Christian Soldiers and a vapid, cheerleading press, the crusade continues unabated, as the world's revulsion continues to grow. http://www.altpr.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=368&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0

    And I quote:

"We're going to smack the crap out of them. That would be nice," one U.S. Marine told the CNN embedded crew.

    From the Toronto Star.

That's the kind of attitude I think is just great for public relations worldwide.

That about says it all, eh ?? EH ????

Canada is completely impotent and can do nothing in answer to your first question, Canadians have demonstrated that they really don't care to do much about the world's problems.

Perhaps we could join Kofi Annan and the United Nations in urging a halt to all operations and then get the government of Iraq handed over to the guys that cut people's heads off, the bonus is that they'll cut off the heads of journalists too so we Canadians won't have to hear all the rest of them scream.

Perhaps the ideal solution, the solution the UN would wholeheartedly agree to, is re-installing Saddam Hussein in power - not only did he kill people quietly, UN officials made tons of cash off that guy so they would be more than happy for him to start their gravy train again, and we Canadians always fully support the United Nations.

The only downside is that Iraq would become a terrorist base from which they could organize and finance attacks against the West, but if we don't mind just a few dead in our streets....

The guys who cut peoples heads off, you mean the mossad masquerading as al-cia-duh? Is that who you mean? Got any proof of anything? I don't mean drawings of aerial photos, I mean proof. You know, the kind of stuff you need when you go to a court that isn't for kangaroos. Care to show us a trail that we can follow? What is your countries philosophy, invade because of wmd concerns, when these turn out to be unsubstantiated rumors do you say,"excuse me", and leave? No, you say you have to stay because you have destabilized the country to such an extent that there would be bloodshed if you left. Then you proceed to blockade towns and cities and bomb and strafe everybody therein, because the only way to make the country safe for democracy is to kill everybody. Good plan, zeig heil mein heretic.

Talk about brainwashed or what? America put Saddam in power, do not forget that.

Let me guess, you still think that Saddam was in cahoots with Osama, and that weapons of mass destruction have already been found?

Oh that is right, no such thing happened! Well then, by the articles of war, the people of Iraq have a legal right to resist the invaders. It is the US that is in violation of the Geneva Conventions, the spirit of the Nuremburg Trials and the entire UN body. To ignore all that is to keep feeding on the propaganda that the US spews each day.

Fallujah. Wounded Knee. Sand Creek. Americans were always santimonious murderous Christian bastards. It's in their genes. In the 19th Century, in addition to extinguishing several Indian tribes, they killed to extinction over 250 species of animals. They even killed the vegetation. Massacre is nothing new for Americans. They founded a country on it.

So now Bush and his mercenaries are going to wipe out Fallujah, and the public's memory of it as well. Pretty neat trick. It's always worked in the past. Why shouldn't it now? And Americans have always come up with good reasons and necessary ones, rob, murder, pillage, and plunder.

The reports that I overheard in a restaurant today on CNN were saying "the US is not encountering nearly as much 'insurgent' resistance as expected in Fallujah."

Seems to me that's what happened when they entered Iraq in the first place. War isn't as easy as CNN (and mass media outlets such as) make it out to be, then again, I forgot:

    May 02, 2003

"In the first live televised address ever made by an American President from a moving aircraft carrier, George W. Bush has announced to the world that the fighting in Iraq is now over"

    Thank you Milton,

I was right there with you.
This a NON has not been paying very close attention I guess. He thinks the US hasn't shot any journalists either. Man, it's obvious a NON has been hit with a yankie "smart-bomb".

a NON, there are court cases going to be taking place against this government from media sources around the globe for murdering their journalists.

I totally agree with the beheading crapolla too Milton. The really sad thing about the horror that is USA attacking Iraq is that HOW DO YOU GET OUT OF THERE NOW? The feckless bastards have created the environment that they want so they CAN kill everyone. This government has lost ALL credibility. Every single bit. Even if they ever do decide to tell a truth, nobody in their right mind would ever believe them. They need to be in jail. Every single one of them.

Oh c'mon guys get real. Some of these posts are beyond belief. If you really believe the US wanted to simply kill all the Iraqis, then how do you rationalize the US sending in ground troops to fight in close quarters? The US Air Force could level that entire town in minutes with zero US casualties, why go in with ground troops?

Why do they take prisoners at all? Why do they allow a free press? Why are they trying to organize elections?

Get a grip, if US objectives were even close to what you guys 'think' then there wouldn't be a building standing in that entire country. Instead, the US has chosen the hard work of trying to build a democracy despite the resistance of fascists and religious fundamentalists who would rather re-impose a reign of terror.

A NON, why did the US choose Iraq to propagate its goodwill, killing at least 37 thousands civilians in the process ? You speak of freedom of the press while at home, the media empire is now under the control of the fascist mafia sitting in the WH. Freedom and liberty ? What's the Patriot Act for then ? and how about those American Free Speech zones, eh ? Free speech or corralled dissent ?<p> It's time for Americans to remove their rose-colored imperialistic glasses because if there is any truth in the "what goes around, comes around" or if nations like people accumulate karma, America is not at the end of its worries and problems. Genocide on the American natives, atom bombs dropped on innocent victims during WWII, millions of death in southeast Asia, greed over justice in the middle east and that's just the short list. I think American's sense of self-importance is about to take a major blow. Though 9/11 made their fragile psyche sway, if America was to get a taste of its own poisoned violence, it would definitely tilt them permanently. What's that other saying : "Those who live by the sword will die by the sword." No rose- colored greatness there, just plain self-righteous arrogance and ignorance.

'self-righteous arrogance and ignorance' - that sums up your post pretty well, especially the ignorance part. Think critically and not cynically for a moment, opening your eyes in such a way would probably change your strange perceptions.
