Ralph Nader Tells Canadians Not To Vote Tory

Posted on Saturday, June 26 at 01:39 by 4Canada
It seems some Americans care as much about Canada as we do! First Michael Moore, now Ralph Nader. It reminds me of all the open letters to America from Canadians over Iraq. _____________________________________________ CBC TORONTO - Another American has asked Canadians not to support the Conservatives on June 28, saying a right-wing government would undermine the country's health-care system. http://www.cbc.ca/stories/2004/06/24/canada/nader_letter040624

We would have a much better relationship with the US admin if Nader or Kucinich were prez !

Don't forget, Nader has always come to Canada when running for election. He considers us close friends, and I personally like his attitude.

I don`t think Ralph is telling us what to do. He merely has a view based on what he sees in Harper and the cons. Now George Bush, HE`S trying to tell us what we can and can`t do!

Oh, so it's okay for Americans to come here and bark out orders as to who we're supposed for vote for, as long as they're left-wing Americans like Nader and Michael Moore. Ah, I get it now.

I agree anon that we should have confidence in ourselves, but voting for Harper - no way!

A US admin that is Canada-friendly is welcome.

Bush is not that person. They would take over Canada in a minute, just for our resources.

Ralph Nader has come to Canada many times, to deliver lectures at our universities, among other things. His message is ALWAYS "do not let the US admin do this to your country". I respect that.

When's the last time Dubya did anything like that ?

I guess Ralph just decided not to be as resentful as Bush over what should have been their common grievance with regard to Canada - that Jean Chretien and his nephew stopped just short of actively campaigning for Al "I invented the Internet" Gore in the 2000 US election.
