Open Letter To Premier Ralph Klein & Alta Conservative Gov

The list of grand statements followed by ‘oops’ is too long to list here, but last year’s Alberta Health Care Card fiasco, (courtesy of Gary Marr)which cost the public millions of dollars because of inept government oversights, is one area which comes to mind. I wonder, how many MRI”s that would buy? Along with charging the lowest rates for our oil, compared to Norway and Alaska, makes me wonder at the wisdom of our government. Since we just had an election in Alberta, you would think these issues would have been discussed with the people, but no instead we heard, ‘trust me’, from Ralph’s Team, ‘we’ll give you the details later.’ So now it’s later. I have said it before, ‘Non-Profit Public Healthcare, is sustainable, what is not sustainable is the blatant greed and self-serving interests of those who were sworn to serve the people first but chose otherwise!’ What Alberta and Canada need are serious changes to our democratic deficit, to prevent the exploitation of our people, and raise the ethics of our elected officials, to the standards we the people expect! Somebody left out the part that says, ‘Democracy, a government by and for the people’ in our school text-books, it is time we took back our government. Next election maybe the people will look at the candidates, and not the party, which answers to no one! So Ralph shows himself to be the "Saddam of Alberta"! Who would have guessed?

No, Saddam had functioning hospitals, before they were bombed, he even had infrastructure, but that was before. Let us remember that Alberta has a democratically elected government, and Ralph does not stand alone, he has advisors and thinkers, and spinners on staff, not to mention MLA's collecting their salary, of which they just gave themselves another raise, somewhere between 6% and 15%!
