US Sceptical Of WTO Trade Plan

Posted on Thursday, July 26 at 16:09 by jensonj
As well as the deadlock between the US, the EU and other developing nations, there is also deep opposition to a trade deal in the US Congress, which has refused to extend "fast-track" negotiating authority which would allow the US president to have any trade deal voted up or down as a whole. 'Fit and ready' The US comments came after two days of talks that outlined the plans. He added that all sides now had a month in which to iron out any problems that may arise and get ready for the WTO talks in September. The one thing these blurbs never mention is that that the so called "trade between countries" is, in reality, between mega multinationals, operating under hundreds of names to pretend the illusion of "free enterprise", who move into these countries and take control with the perceived energy of imaginary capital "created" from the air.

Yet, no political party dares to mention this obvious and well proven fact in fear of "discouraging wealth creating foreign investment".

Good point Ed. "Free enterprise" is now known as "takeover". There is no restriction to buy out your competitor, regardless of their local. World wide monopoly is the true purpose of free trade.
